Czech derby: 36 entries

The 2018 horseracing season at Prague-Velká Chuchle racecourse begins on April 8th and classic races are among the highlights of this season.

Thursday, January 11, was the date of first entries to these classic races: 36 horses were entered to the 98th Czech derby (Jun 24, 12f, 2,5 mio. CZK) /33 from the Czech Rep., 2 from Germany - incl. Gr.3 winner Poldi's Liebling and 1 from Hungary/, 35 horses were nominated to the 73rd Czech St Leger (Sep 2, 14f, 550 ths. CZK), 23 horses head to the 97th Czech 2000 Guineas (May 13, 1m, 550 ths. CZK) and also 23 fillies /incl. three from Germany and one from Slovakia/ were entered to the 70th Czech 1000 Guineas (May 6, 1m, 550 ths. CZK).
